Dívčí smyčcový kvartet

A stylish ladies´ string quarter from Brno founded in 2002 will perform for you a range of famous melodies from the classical masterpieces via popular opera and operetta melodies, legendary jazz pieces, casual ragtime, popular chansons, blazing tangos and sweet waltzes to present film hits.
The artistic leader of the ensemble – the cellist Pavla J – accompanies the performance with spoken word Pavla J (violoncello, artistic leader) – conservatory and Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno graduate, formerly on scholarship of the Rotary Club and the German academic scholarship service DAAD, contributor to many major music projects at home and abroad with the State Philharmonic of Brno, the Staatskapelle Weimar, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra Musici Boemi and the City Theatre in Brno. She has recorded for the Czech Radio, the German radio stations Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk and Radio Deutsche Welle, for Czech and German televisions. She has founded the Beladona String Quartet and the Tango Milonguero ensemble. She has cooperated with a number of outstanding figures of world culture (Andrea Bocelli, Veronique Sanson, Václav Hudeček, Gabriela Demeterová, Dagmar Pecková, Eva Urbanová and others)
